Anneta Marlene Corbin

I am Anneta Marlene Corbin and I am so pleased to find this site and am totally awed at seeing the work of so many fine artists who are members of this site. I am a member of the local Art Club and have paintings on display in their Art Gallery of our small town. Other than “Typical Texas” I paint Southwest Art, architecture and still life, using acrylics and/or oils. I sometime do Graphite and pen & ink drawings as well as photo restoration and tinting, [hand coloring] black and white photographs. I enjoy studying the various art techniques, mediums, colors, etc. of well known Texas artists and have attended workshops and/or demonstrations in and around the Hill Country area.
A native Texan, I have also lived in Arizona and California. I met my husband Gladden [a photographer] married, made our home and we raised three children and still live in Lampasas, a small town in Central Texas. Now retired after many years of fulltime employment, I enjoy having more time for painting and sharing my knowledge and love of painting. I volunteer at the local Gallery and welcome anyone who wants to come in and paint a while. I offer free lessons and lot’s of encouragement, especially for beginners or would-be artist of any age.
