Calonie Johnson

My name is Calonie Johnson. I was bred in the Tri-State area but now live in the South.
The main things to know about me as an artist are: detailed, Renaissance-inspired, love visual emphasis.
The media that I most love to use are graphite, charcoal, and oil.
I have done many comissioned portraits, but the most fun I have is with work I have conceptualized.
The look I work with is usually b & w with touches of color for mood or isolation. People are my main subject.
I don't want to sound like a resume, but would like to mention I hold a BA in studio art & operated out of a shop for some time, but now want to put my selling online.

RIGHT NOW, I completed a logo project for a non-profit & rendered a drawing of my church. I am also making an important transition in my life...but more on that, later, when complete. (And at the moment, my laptop screen is being repaired. When that is settled I will post some new works!)
