My career as an "Artist" began after I retired, and continues every day. As a photographer for many years, I know how to capture the real world around me with a camera.

After spending time at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, I decided to take up painting in order to capture my inner world without using digital techniques. My technique is Autodidactic.

My style seems to be "contemporary conceptual abstract surrealist," but not by design ~ bred in the bone. I am neither a traditional, nor a classical painter. Flaws in perspective, color, and technique are there by Devine design. Constructive feedback is always welcome. "A painting a day, keeps the doctor away."

Edvard Munch has been screaming at me for years. Vincent Van Gogh is the link between creativity and madness, which does not mean that all creative persons are mad, nor does it imply that all mad people are creative.

My paintings have become my children, so I cannot let them go. I have all my original art in my gallery. Giclée prints may be for sale upon request. Prints of my work are on stretched canvas only: no paper, and no glass.
