, United StatesMy career as an "Artist" began after I retired, and continues every day. As a photographer for many years, I know how to capture the real world around me with a camera.
After spending time at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, I decided to take up painting in order to capture my inner world without using digital techniques.
The simplicity of my work mirrors Aristotle’s philosophy: “The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.” Vincent van Gogh confessed: "I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." His spirit inspires!
