I have been painting for many years and work in acrylics and oil. My personal philosophy is this: The joy of creating a work of art is only exceeded by by the joy of appreciating that work of art.The approach I take to creating a painting is to feel something about the subject matter and to try to convey that feeling to the viewer. The life of an artist is constantly one of reviewing, revising, loving the work and hating the work, but it is never boring and always satisfying to the soul.
