I have been painting for about almost 18 years now...I have been an elementary art teacher for 14 years and I show my work about two to three times a year locally.I paint as much as life allows and I tend to go in and out of series in still life and landscape. My painting influences are Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney and Stuart Davis. I work in acrylic on canvas or canvas board...all work is for sale, just drop me a line....

Latest comment I like your style Jeff it's so bright and attractive. And about as far from my style as it's possible to get, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it.

Is it important for you to express your sad or negative emotions/feelings in your art, or would you prefer to paint "happy" all the time?
Interesting question, Carol. when my daughter split up with her first boyfriend, I suggested she paint how she feels right now. She painted a mainly black... view answer
