35 years ago 'Art' was for me just another school subject. Although I wanted to further my art studies, it was simply not an option as being and Artist was not considered a viable career in my family.
Six years ago I survived a serious attack on my life; and during the year of physical (and emotional) recovery I did two drawings - and loved the activity.
I mustered the courage to enroll in art classes 3 years ago. It is what I always wanted to do. I've been painting for about a two years now. It is both agonising and wonderful.
