Kathy Cia White

, United States
Kathy Cia White is a second generation Santa Rosan who comments, “Having lived my whole life in Sonoma County, I am sensitive to the beauty of creation. I have been painting and drawing since I was a child. It is a spiritual outlet/experience for me.” Kathy took art classes throughout her school years, including college. Her art style is basically abstract. She has been told that when people view her paintings, that they have feelings of hopefulness…that her paintings bring a feeling of joy and expectancy….that good things are ahead! In addition to painting, Kathy is currently responsible for bringing art and creativity into the community through an “open studio” she runs every Monday night, called Open Portals. There, people can come to paint, draw, write, dance, make music, and even quilt. Kathy says, “I believe that we were born to create! I believe that if we embrace our creative identity, we will soar in freedom! Let’s fly!”

Latest comment Oh Kathy, it's very spiritual. I like the concept and the vibes of the painting. :) Nanna
