Michael Cavanagh

Painting is my passion, which often leads into a reverie, when your creative mind takes over and suspends spacial time.

I have been drawing and painting since I was a small child. My dream as a child was to work for Walt Disney. Then, I discovered the Old Masters, and oil paint started running through my veins. I attended art schools to learn the basics and develop my skill and style. Life and caregiving led me away until last year. I finished "Hours of Quiet Desperation" for ARTPRIZE. I'm slowly returning to my dream of study and painting.

Studied at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Paier College of Art.
