Painting purely for recreation and enjoyment I'm still in the discovery phases of working with various media and surfaces. Most of the fun for me, is found in the learning that comes with each new project.
Everyone I have encountered here on PIL has shown respect and kindness without exception. Each has spurred me to improve my own work offering encouragement with each new effort I display here. I'd like to thank everyone for their votes and comments.

I have found my greatest enjoyment working in Acrylics on canvas. However, after joining PIL and learning a bit about gouache I was so intrigued and simply had to give it a try. I have since learned to enjoy it a great deal especially when working on a Masonite panel. Gouache has a vibrancy of color I haven't found in any other medium.

Introduced to PIL by my brother, Craig Willms (a fine artist in his own right) I consider it a bit of an honor to be able to showcase my own work alongside so many outstanding artists. My only regret is that I haven't more to share with you...... just yet.
