I was born in the U.K but moved to France last year. I only started painting this summer after I turned fifty one. Up to then I never really had the confidence to try as when I was a primary school child I was told by a general class teacher that I had no imagination, so I accepted that. It took great courage to put my first work on here for comments and I am thankful to everyone for their encouragement so far. As you will now gather I have had to be self taught. I will continue to try to get better, I just hope I can.
