Absolutely great work and concept. Wonderful landscape, Powerful sky and fields perspective. I love the boy's openhanded welcome of the beauty of nature and life, while running.

I spotted your thumbnail for this one while browsing, and just had to have a closer look. Its a lovely image, with a terrific composition. I love the way the big sky gives the impression that the child looks as if he could take off and fly. A very joyful picture! Les

Thank you Les, my wife would be flattered at being called a child. Goes to show we never grow up if we stay happy.

Apologies to your wife Jim and I hope she is flattered indeed. If the depiction of her in your painting is anything to go by, then she looks full of the joys of spring and youthful exuberance anyway. Personally, I still think I'm 18 though my body still likes to remind me otherwise sometimes. All the best, Les

The composition is great. I like your sky very much. The upper part which is so bright comes in balance with the bottom part.
1 month
Thanks Kostas - the brightness of the sky at the top of the picture you mention is a more detailed in the actual painting as the lighting in the photograph has washed it out slightly
Keep up the good work with your painting.

Kind regards
