A little background on myself;
Brought up in the Gold mining town of Kalgoorlie Western Australia, I now live in the Perth Darling Range W.A. and have done so for a number of years. Although, my heart is in the Australian outback, I venture back to the bush when possible. Painting and Art has been a passion for as long as I can remember.
The experiences and journeys into the great Aussie outback have given me a deep insight and respect for the people who choose to work and live their lives in the mighty Australian Bush. I too have lived and worked in some of the most remote places in our great land. My experiences and travel range between the coast and the centre of our great land.
In particular the colors of the inland and its desert have left a colorful impression.
This upbringing stands me in good stead to draw from my experiences and the colors to put brush to canvas and paint images of our great outback.
My paintings will vary depending on the inspirations that come to mind Eg; Naïve; Abstract; Impressionism; Mining; legends and characters of the Australian Bush. I try to capture the Aussie sense of humor. It’s an integral part of the outback character, with a happy go lucky, she'll be right Mate outlook on life.

Pro and I have similar backgrounds really, living and working in the great Aussie bush with all its brilliant color. Funny thing is a lot of my outback works could relate to me subconsciously. When I paint these particular works the story just flows out of me, almost like I have been there.
