Dear Carla: This is an amazing painting. You have depicted both the beauty of Planet Earth, and the Brutality of Man. Edvard Munch would certainly recognize your "Scream." Fantastic work! Your paintings have deep symbolic content, which makes them that much more valuable. Congratulations! Five-Stars! CED
WOW..such vibrance in emmotion..nice to see them work together..also i once heard along the path of finding myself as an artist....to find the "awe" in your own work..is to find yourself as an artist.(of course this is paraphrased)
well,i am stunned, elated and totally impressed, what a marvellous interpretaton of a past masterpiece...bringing your own masterpiece, into the 21st century...it is SUPERB,a pic that astounds, suprises and that i'm in love with...everything about it is unique,a tranformation and a VERY personal statement...luv all the figures and dog....
This is an extremely meaningful piece! It captures the worlds suffering so well and also those of us.. who choose to ignore it. The one hand is reaching out and the other.. seemingly covering his ears. The perfect statement, of our increasingly sad world. Very well done!! :D
Thanks Thea, glad you see it...the conflict between seeing and doing is ever present, especially in a society where the holes are so large they seem impossible to fill...

I love your painting. The first painting that I fell in love with was Munch's "The Scream" and I really like your "interpretation". The colours and the energy are awesome. Pear (accepted)
I love the contrast of serenity in the background with the hopelessness and desperation in the foreground; coupled with the innocence of the child ... brilliant piece.
Thanks Mike, I started off feeling down and finished off with this bright version, must be this bright yellow African sun as opposed to grey Norwegian light ;-D

In the past 2 months I have relocated with my family to Melbourne, Australia. This is such a beautiful city full of creative people. I cannot wait to see which way my paintings will take me in this space.
ALL THE BEST!
