Hi Jules, It has been a hectic 6 weeks and hardly been on PIL except for updating the groups I administer, so very busy but things are starting to "pay off" as I have signed a contract with a gallery to sell my artwork and have just revamped my website, I am also busy sketching and painting and have lots of ideas ;0) I would love to meet you in the flesh one day, as for fame, if that happens) you will have one of the first invites my friend ;0) take care, Paul xx

Artist Statement
for Paul j Horton

United Kingdom

I live in Staffordshire England, which is between Manchester and Birmingham in central England.
I am a self taught artist, no art degrees, just trial and error experience over the years with a little reading too.
I have spent most of my working life in Electronics, first as an Engineer then as a Manager, finding art was my savior in life, without it there is something missing!!
I use Oils, Acrylics, Charcoal, Pastels, Water Colours to create my works.
I paint portraits, landscapes, abstract and photo realism.

Remember that one persons "junk" is anothers "treasure", beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
