Thank you. I learn from all on this site, but need a lot of encouragement, even critique if it can help me. My art instructor in SA said this was a cardboard picture. lol. I still like it!
Hello. I knew that these kind of paintings has aspecial name in Germany,it's called "naive Kunst". Naïve art is now a fully recognized art genre, represented in art galleries worldwide. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naive_art). Very good I like it.
This is so interesting. At first I didnt realise that the canvas was hanging I thought the background was a part of the painting. I makes me feel as if I am looking at a scene through a wooden fence. Great!
A good effort, Teresa. Like the woodwork texture. would like to have seen a little less of the gate and more of details in your corner yard though. Nevertheless you've put some good planning and thought into this painting's construction.
Like yourself, my style has also been described as naive art.
your picture would show better if we could just see the canvass and not the wood that it is hung on..it is confusing as to what is the painting and what isnt..your flowers and greenery are lovely and it like the tile roof on the building..this is a good start, a well done early painting..keep painting
great work ...the ideas good you have depth and the use of colour is good ... keep it up ... the flowers work well .. looking forward to the next one .. well done
Beautiful painting! I love the flowers in your garden. I like the colours you used too. Warm and bright. It has an art naive style which is used a lot in Brazil. Well done.
