Inspiration

This painting have a so interesting story behind it...
After the exhibition-opening the teacher sayd:
-You should not to paint nothing else in all your life ,only like the bright ones in pop art style/he mean here at "Wonderful city,Mannwithoutsadow",Riga,etc.../
But...I cannot do this...You know...I must going forward!
And what I mean about this thing,you can see on this painting...
Hope,you understand it...
Oil on canvas,50/50 cm.

Iby I love this painting, your pop art is one of your wonderful styles...I disagree with the teacher that you should only paint this because your landscapes and flowers are also wonderful...your pop art style however is what we relate best to you because you do it so well, but so are all your others works wonderful...Please explain this one a little more to me...is the bigger person in this painting trying to force the artist "YOU" to paint what you don't want to or preventing you from growing?

I want to express here that he liked my pop at style,and think ,that so is the best for me to paint...This is his opinion...But I know,that these works was only a stage of development from my art...And now I'm far away from this...I not think,that he want for me something wrong...but I was very surprised and intrigued...Because I not may find nothing interesting to working so in that style,and only in that style...This inspired me to do this...

I agree Iby there is so many ways to interpret so many subjects and concepts, I love to paint from the heart but so many gallery owners want a style and they do not want you to stray, they demand a signature style to carry any artist around here and I have great problems with that I become very uninspired. I love all your works and your philosophy painting on true inspiration.

But you konw,when you,I,or we have a great inspiration or we feel that we must "say" something,we must do it how it come...

And we are inspired ever from new things...This is the motivation to paint...
Because of these we mus-symbolik mean-saw trought everything and everybody to follow our dream..../because of this i painted the big person transparent.../
But the big person can be also the INSPIRATION ITSELF...
There are many meanings...

Hi Iby you are excellent at pop art but you should not restrain youself painting only pop art, you are multi talented artist. Your flowers and landscapes, city scapes are beautifull too.And you know the concept of colours which evrybody can tell by looking at your work. Your teacher was absolutely wrong.
