What I love , apart from your beautiful composition, is the colours you use spreading all over a warm atmosphere . "Coffee" is always a great momment of the day.A moment of relaxing, thinking, communicating.....All the best Ioanna

Lovely still life Kostas. I really like the warm tonal values in this painting. This has put me in the mood for a cup of coffee myself so I'm off to put the kettle on. Regards, Les

Dear Kostas, I like the warm, almost glowing quality of your "hot coffee" painting (small hint: watch the ovals of cup, plate and pot and their perspective....:))

Thanks a lot my friend. I enjoyed very much the article with Picasso's interview at your web-magazine. It was enlightening for me. Keep on the good work.
A beautiful new smiling profile pic Kostas. And I love your new painting too. The coffee looks really good and whole composition is very wholesome. xxx Paula
Dear Kostas, When I viewed this piece I thought of my Hungarian Grandmother. long ago deceased. Felt such deep, deep feelings just in the viewing. 5***** Wonderful work, Kostasm Judith
Glad you like my new painting, see also my new tryptic! See you are exploring still life, very good, you could add some light! Not white, but a very pale yellow/orange almost white, it will make this sparkle, I see light as color and never use white as light or black for shadows, for shadows try a little of the colors opposite Red-green, blue orange etc. Happy painting! The overall tones are all the same.

I'm new self taught artist. I was drawing and sketching from time to time since my childhood, but recently I decide to be more serious about it and try various styles and mediums. This site and all wonderful people I found here help me to move on and fulfill my lifetime dream; to be able to paint.
Any critique is always welcome.
