Born November 6, 1960 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Lived in Phoenix, Arizona since 1966. Was a Pretty much a 60's kid and had a great childhood.I was named by my full blood Native American grandmother she was half Euchee tribe and half Creek tribe. She called me the "BEAR". It's not true that all Native Americans have big money from oil wells and casinos. I go by "BEAR" not that ashamed of my natural born name, it's a part of me too. Things were a lot different back then but in many ways they are still the same. I started painting when I was nine. My favorite group back then was Steppenwolf and Salvador Dali. I got my BFA Specializing in Painting at Arizona State University in 1983. Worked as a graphic artist, Illustrator, consultant for the printing industry, and painted homes up till 1996. Become a burnt out bad boy bi-polar drug addict till 2004. Been clean since 2004 but still bi-polar. Lost the majority of my art during those destructive years. Love life, family, and God now not that I ever stopped. Now I have a collection of work spanning over three years and I'm glad to share it with all of you. Thank you so much for your support. My favorite artists are Bob Dylan, Pablo Picasso, and a local artist named Fritz Shoulder he was part Native American he was the reason I became a painter for life. He has passed on since. I have a fresh passion to strive to become a Master Painter before I die. I will never give up. I'm 49 now I figure I got another 49 in me. I can be contacted via e-mail bearstudio2010@hotmail.com
