Stylised Figurative paintings of todays’

thank you hun, it is going to be some busy days starting tomorrow and I am still busy doing information packs for Tuesday, it is all being filmed along with the art group in a couple o months and will be posted on the internet so you can all see it for yourselves. I think after Tuesday the scale of what we have started will sink in and maybe I will get a few days to rlax (Haaaaaaaaa as if )

Hallo Victoria - Thanks for your comment - in fact the launch party will be on a weekend day for the general public -it will be advertised Brisbane City Council site - "whats on"- a Saturday, with complimentary BBQ , music, dancers performing - They are making a festival of it at Brisbane Square - as There are different exhibits around all sections of the library. Hi Nadia, the pattern was inspired by morrocan tiles, the colours behind - samples of the vivid dye colours opften used to dye suede(kid leather).

I don't pretend to understand fashion, and sadly, not enough knowledge of many cultures, but I do appreciate beauty. This is a beauty! The style is simple, but adding in the cultural aspects makes it so intriguing. For instance, the window releif in the background.... it really lends itself nicely for the subject and gives us some flavor of the provenance which makes up Morracan style. To you I wish the best for your March show honey. You're going to ROCK IT!

Ive worked in the creative industries for 20 years, as a Commercial Artist- encompassing graphic design, sample(fashion)design, textiles print design,and illustrator/cartoonist.

These days(in the last year) I have settled with working as a freelance painter/art consultant. I find it beneficial to connect and communicate, share thoughts and concepts with fellow creative people, and look forward to the inspiration this brings with it.
