This is quite personal to me and I wanted to share it with all my friends and those who have found their way out through Art. no need to comment just something for you to think about.
MY WAY OUT
Trapped in a box and I feel like I have drowned.
I gaze all around and there is no way out.
The corridor so long and glazed down one side.
The words as I walk just say to me go on commit suicide.
There are no doors, windows or light, For all the time here is perpetual night.
I scream in the dark and yet no one can hear, For all that I have is darkness and fear.
Then one day and a complete surprise,
Instead of just black, there was some blue in my eyes.
I started to paint, just what I did not know
The paint started talking and the shapes began to just flow.
The darkness of depression and addiction to drugs, Out of my life they have started to nudge.
A light appeared and then a door, at last some hope and away from the fear.
My drowning was gone and I am now on the shore
Now I am awake and thirst so much more.
For art gave me new life and I can now offer more,
I give you TSX and a new open door

Artist Statement

Sorry for the delay but we are finnaly updateing the TSX website so if you get time take a look.
The first TSX art group opend on Monday 15th and was a great success. We had about 10 people of all age groups from 14 to 65 and most of them had never painted befor or had the chance if not for TSX so I fill pritty proud of you all for helping this happen.
TSX has now raised £12000 in funding for the first year to set up, cant waite till we start selling paintings and raise more. god bless you all.
If anyone would like to make a donation to the charity they now can through the donation button on the home page of TSX.
Please note that if you send a painting to TSX mark on the decluration that it is a gift otherwise there will be customs charges that are more than postaget which the charity as much as would like will be unable to pay, we do appologise for this but we are limited
to funds.
Along with my own work, TSX have over 200 paintings that have been donated and I would like to thank you all from my heart.

Art gave me a way out of years of illness and torment and PIL gave me more it gave me friends and now I wake up with a reason to live, to bring hope to others less fortunate than me. For the first time I am proud of myself and the knowldge that my family are now proud of me and I can make a difference and already have. I know it is a bit of a cleshay but thank you to all my friends on PIL and thank you to Art for giveing me back my Life.
