This photo is of my husband Jim and I. My theme for Life "You are no better than anyone else, but no one is better than you. Respect others as you would like to be respected.Be a good listener, and be giving of wisdom and Love.Do not wish your Life away, Seize the Day for what it is,,Tomorrow is promised to no one." Art is my passion...I am selftaught and venturing into many other techniques! .Pencil sketch,is what I love. I hope in the very near future to show more of my art.it will hopefully generate a little more votes. Last fall, 2008 I received 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons in a local art contest, which included both new artists and pros., so I do feel more confident now. I am in pursuit of a lifetime passion and I am starting to feel like I have been reborn!! Along with my love for art..I also love "older cars" In the summer, I drive my 66 Chevelle, mostly to cars shows and my Husband drives his 48 Chevy. Pick Up Truck...I am planning on sketching or painting both of them...We enjoy them so much and meet many great people on our adventures..I will keep you posted! Sincerely, Doris
