in this I can see a volcanic eruption bursting out across the sea as it forms new land which will bring about new life as it becomes an Island. Birds will bring seads and the seads will grow and some how animals will find their way there. Great work Guntis

Guntis, you speak of harmony of different worlds and the idea a spiritual work. Here I see the balance of color in the spectrum. The water and the sky are one yet the explosion of color to the right in the composition, with its far reaching horizontal color band, as the divider. It seems as if the tranquility of the landscape is interrupted by the burst of color. Yet on another level it also has a quieting effect as it represents the flowing reeds of a plant and nicely stretches out and across the composition. I like it when I can have more than a short sojourn into a work of art. I look forward to seeing more in this style.

HI, I am Guntis Svitins from Latvia.
Art and creative life is main component of my life.
In the art field I am two sided person, because my basic occupation is art historian, but I studied painting, drawing and handling of glass too.
