Tui

I painted this Tui for my brothers 50th birthday. He owns a country hotel so NZr's appreciate this. My brother loves it

The Tui is a native NZ bird. My brother owns a hotel & the Brand 'Tui' beer is very popular in NZ. All Nzlers will see the fun in this painting

Hi Denise, When I saw the Tui painting, I had to take a closer look. I live way down South in Invercargill. We have an acre just out of town. Love it when the tuis visit.. Yes I am familiar with the Beer. Kept some bottle tops..Now I have many as the Men-folk in the family save them for me. (What to do with them?) Maybe a Tui Mosaic.. Your painting is great. What part of NZ are you?

for Denise Pryor
New Zealand
Denise PryorArt is my passion, nothing else matters when I am painting. The whole world can pass me by.
I have always painted but only 5 years ago I decided to really pursue my art & enrolled with The Learning Connexion in Wellington, New Zealand & embarked on a 5 year journey towards my diploma in art & creativity honours. I have loved every minute & wished I had done it earlier. I have just completed my course - June 2009 & have gained my diploma in Art & Creativity (Honours)
I live in the small coastal community Te Awanga, surrounded by renown wineries & the sea & of course good friends. This is an amazing atmosphere for painting.
