Artist Statement
for Lori Shumey
Lori ShumeyI have been an artist of acrylics and graphite for nearly all of my life.... which at times seems like forever. My newest endeavors are stain glass and jewelry making. I love to keep busy with my art in all mediums and am constantly learning and enjoying life.
l started this painting in acrylic but couldnt seem to get the black body right and ended with drawing in pastel. Has anyone else had trouble like this?
