This is beautiful Raymond I love the style in which you have painted it and the colors. I would love to go Burma some day, there where a lot of Burmese who migrated to Perth when I was a kid and I always thought they where just so lovely that I wanted to go there because it would have to be as beautiful as the people. Lovely work hugs to you.

Hello Raymond! You should have lot of work with this picture! Nicely done and it's telling, that you upgrade yourself! :) That is the artist's victory, when makes his soul more smooth.
Congratulations! Really good painting. :)

Yes Thomas a lot of work had gone into this painting it took me one month to finish.

...and on the end you could feel the difference. :)
...more work, more "injecting" patience and attiention... should be a way, which leads to the gorgeous high. :) Have a nice day and wish you lot of inspiration. :) T

Dear Raymond, Outstanding...this is very nice work and I love it. I like how you put someone in the painting of interest.
The buildings are very different and I like the clothes line with clothes hanging...very nostalgic. Warm regards, Raymond.

4 months
Thank you Judith,This is my first attempt at a proper landscape painting. You are right, the buildings are different for other paintings because it is a village in Burma I have painted.I delibetratly put the cloths line to make the colour composition better.I hope it will satisfy your curiosity.

love,

Raymond.

I like how you showed depth by keeping your coolest hues in the back and towards the front. By using your warmest hue on the figure in the foreground, it created a good focal point.

BEAUTIFUL PAINTING!!!!!!!

A beautiful painting of Burma, Raymond! The colours are magnificent, with the faint blues in the background, the thatched houses on stilts, and the Burmese lady dressed in Sarong crossing the bridge. The Tall cocanut palm that stands aloof from all the buildings, and the Waterlily lake, is such a peaceful composition! 5***** Regards Angela Susan
