Lovely colours and symetrical shapes. Also love the way you managed to help the lines to disappear. The pebbles are so well portrayed and help to bring about a translucent effect of the water.Beautiful Fish Pond composition,John! 5***** Regards Angela Susan

I love this John, it is so much fun. I like the way you have achieved the transparency of the water above those lovely rounded pebbles. I think this is excellent.Good job on those fish too.

Hi Nadine, thanks for taking the time to look at this one,it was just one of those things rattling around in my head, and then Hayden started showing interest in fish,so I had to do it.
Thanks again,John

This is another favourite! Love the theme, and design- composition, It is quite unusual to visualise a pond like this- it becomes a beautiful pattern within pattern. Well Done! ;-)

Artist Statement
for John Stuart Webbstock
John Stuart WebbstockI reside in Mississauga, Ontario where I have my studio.
Although I have not had any formal training in art, painting has become an important part of my life.
I could not do this without the great support I am getting from my wonderful family and friends.
My favourite medium is oil on canvas.
Although I've painted some landscapes I always return to painting surrealism, methaphysical or abstract pieces.
