I've had very little training as an artist but get my influences from the many different countrys I've visited during my career as a professional musician, only having the time to start painting ten years ago. Now in my retirement year I intend to give more time to art, explore a little deeper, try to put on the canvas what I'm feeling and not taking the 'safe' road. Easy to say....harder to do I think! In music you have to 'step over your shadow' often in order to create and develop new ideas. I hope to be able to apply the same principals to my art. Wish me luck:-)

Anyway, happy painting

right, we are hard on ourselves and I dont mind 'nick picking' Kind wishes, Chris
You have painted a classic with the same classic rendition of the renaissance. Unfortunately you have not given this a title, a 'Victorian Fantasy' would have been very appropriate as your lady gazes upon the river for a mirror. A 5 Star!

I get quite frustrated when my comments on great art, won't register, in your case this would be my forth attempt. only hope you receive it this time.
