M doing some mannequins, bought some wooden artist ones & hit them with the fine point markers, they take on a new dimension, I'm going to donate them to the PIL escape club charity function/show.
I just also whipped up a very small one to see if i could do it.
will find a home for it.

We're loving it for sure Marilyn....and of course the other 3! I'm going to see if I can put them into a frame so that all 4 can be displayed together...they're too beautiful to be stowed away in a book!

Lovely as ever! The star is beautiful and bright, and your characters are fantastic as always. I like the witch's smile as she looks up at the star. The cat looks out with awe. Well done!

I have painted all my life from being a small child with paper and paint as my main toys. I took a diploma in art and design in the 70's then went on to do graphic design and worked in advertising...those were the days before computer when we did lettering by hand or letraset.. how laborious!
My favourite art medium is Black Indian Ink and Artist watercolour paint.
I always enhance my paintings with iridescent and gold ink to make them glimmer in the light. I love the magical effect it gives.
If you wonder why I have so many Witch and Cat paintings it is because I started them off as collectors cards in 2008 and they have caught on and are still in demand.. I am...
I think the water is too blue and don't want to repaint it as I'm already wanting to move on. What can I glaze over it to knock back the color a bit?
I would go the left of the bridge and lighten up trees and foreground. I think that would lead your eyes into the painting. The water line reflections on... view answer
