Outstanding composition. The flower is not painted for it's own sake. It's part of a greater whole. I love it.

Contextual Statement

The conceptual base that underpins my work is the understanding of the process of perception. I believe that objects or ideas that we perceive through our senses not only give us information but also give us aesthetic pleasure. I am passionate about creating a dialogue between the viewer and my paintings. I acknowledge that this dialogue may not accord with my own conception as cultural and social backgrounds will inevitably differ. I aim to confront and challenge the viewers' perception and through this process give them aesthetic pleasure.

I admire Paul Gauguin for his personal sacrifice to pursue his art. His work has a major influence on my art. My aspiration is to push myself artistically...
the info supplied by my pil friends have been applied, what I would like to know is the dust cloud sufficient or must I do something else to the painting?
