This is a repainting of my original Three Swords. The original was one of the first I ever painted, this one is 6 months later on a 24X36 canvas.

Karin BayerWell, it's 2014, and I am still painting! In Jan. of 2011, I received my first set of paints and brushes from my husband as a gift, and I have fallen in love with the simple joy of painting!
When I look back at my first pieces, I remember the need to finish a painting as fast as I could, so I would see the final result! Now, I am enjoying the leisure of creating a painting slowly, and watching the images appear clearly, one at a time. I guess that is part of the growth.
