Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I did use a bit of artistic licence with the buildings and this is my normal colour pallet particularly for places in Europe

I was just there a couple of weeks ago. My favorite place in Paris. Interesting vertical direction - its sets it apart from other paintings of Sacre couer. Peggy

My paintings are in mainly acrylic and have recently started to use soft pastels and pastel pencils and really love this medium. For my subjects I draw on the numerous photographs I took whilst visiting South Africa, Spain, France and Italy and of course the UK where I live.
