Thank you Ann, this is the month of Christmas, and so I wanted to do a portrait of my hero. I love the Lord dearly, and these past 7 months I have needed Him more than in my whole life. He has given me strength, courage and comfort. Big hugs to you too my sweet friend, and I am sure the Lord smiles on you every day.

Thanks James, I put tears in his eye's, (tears of love for the world), but I didn't sketch him on the cross, so I didn't want any pain or suffering in his eye's and face, just tears of love. I wanted to display him as I see him....beautiful....incredible love for the world, the crown of thorns on His head is merely in recognition of His gift to the world. Warmest hugs.

Drawing shows much expression. The eyes and tears. The shortest verse in the Bible says Jesus weep. This drawing says it all. Great job.
