Chartreuse basket case by Jacob Larmour

Chartreuse basket case

Color pencil on paper. 14"x17".
This piece was inspired by the new chartreuse pencil I bought. I was also quite caught up red during this piece. The circular diameters get slowly larger as they expand I've been playing with different ratios.

Lovely. The colors in this one give it a "sunrise in the Southwest" feel. Nice work.

Artist Statement
for Jacob Larmour

What do you all think of the painting? A flash back to 1986 when I was 17. I wonder if I should do more or just drop it all?
Really like the concept Clinton and think you should do more...if you yourself really feel the need to do it? This would be a good question to put into my... view answer
