Someone's House by Carola Hume

Someone's House

a plein air pen sketch i did some years ago of someone's house. i decided to use a blue coloured pen instead of the usual black.
unfortunately i did not keep a record of the location of this house but it was somewhere around the Camden/The Oaks area in the state of NSW, Australia.

Another imposing residence, Carola, and I love the big cedar to the left. This house reminds me of Darwin's with its little verandah.A lovely sketch and because there is an open door inviting us in, please add to my group.

for Carola Hume
Carola HumeHello fellow artists & visitors,
Thanks for stopping by to look at my work.
I live on the Gold Coast having moved up from Camden on the outskirts of Sydney in December 2005.

I joined the Royal Queensland Art Society around 2006, (membership has since lapsed) but had not really done much with my membership except attend the best watercolour workshop I've ever been to, by visiting artist Tony Smibert from Tasmania. I've attended many workshops over the years, & whilst my previous workshop art teachers can all paint well, very few can actually teach how to improve your technique. Tony was absolutely brilliant!!!!!

I've been painting on & off since a teenager, with up to a maximum break of about 10-15 years between; attending...
