Your work is awe inspiring. The contrast of light and dark gives focus to your subjects....and you have found naturally occuring subjects that in their own right are in fact abstractions. Have you ever thought of working in encaustic? Look up Tony Sherman...he too captures the same sense but encaustic gives his work an uncanny three dimensional quality. FANTASTIC!

This is the most dramatic image of fire I've ever seen! Really love the movement of the flames (I've never wanted to back away from a painting before)! Fantastic work Lydia!
