The place I’m living (Porto Rafti) is very close to Athens and the beautiful bay is actually the Aegean sea, the Greek archipelago.
Sunny atmosphere...Well done Kostas...

Καλά μπάνια!
πολύ ωραίο !!
Have a nice day Kostas!
Your painting has great composition, blues, shadows from the rocks, and white highlights.
Thanks also, for noticing my work. I hope to visit your gorgeous country next year - especially the islands!

I agree with you, about oils; I didn’t tried them until this summer because of the smell from turpentine. I’m used to painting at my balcony and during winter is difficult for me to do it with oils. So since last October where I started use paints, I started with acrylics. In any case, I agree with you, oils are best. I did some study works this summer. If you have time you can check them here on PIL (Old pot
Thank you for the advices about watercolors also. I'm using the watercolors of my daughter...(lol). After your comment, I found the Windsor Newton Professional series at ‘’Plaisio’’ stores and I'm going to try them.
Thank you very much for the support and courage.

Your style is wonderful.Boat at Porto Rafti is my favorite.
Home near the coast? O my God.I must see this old boat in
vivo, ha,ha.
Happy new year Kostas.
Warm regards,
The boat is great and the over all composition is strong..... very eye catching.
I had to smile at the comment about the toothbrush for doing sand. I was looking the other day at the strange things i have with my brushes. I was doing a very small landscape and to get the right textures in the rocks and brickwork, i employed some things including toothpicks and chopsticks, and even an eyelash-brush for the dry grasses. haha i knew there would be a good use for it one day!! Happy painting, Kostas
The poor boat it seams that left there by her owner, and now days is almost destroyed. I don't know why the authorities allowed this to happen, but I see her there every day...
Thanks again for your comment.
