I have been looking at your technique for a long time. I would like to watch you paint. I have the sense that before your brush touches the canvas with paint, in your mind you have already chosen the exact hue, the precise stroke and direction. I love this one particularly. In the air the cry of seagulls as fishermen greet.

Thanks alot Reyneke, i do not preplan my paintings much ,i mostly use my eyes and get the general color shapes and relationships established first ,then go into them laying in variations of tone and color

Do you mix on the canvas or on your palette? i have the bad habit of using the canvas to find the colour I want... often I squeeze the paint directly onto the canvas out of the tube. It is easier for me when working in the fields.
