You may have or not as the case may be noticed that I have not been around for a week...well, I was rushed into hospital on Thursday with what turned out to be a Hemorrhage in my lower abdomen...Really really painful!!! but glad to say on the mend now, especially after a few good shots of morphine..:)) Any hows I am still abit weak, but will catch up with everyones new paintings when I feel a bit stronger...It's good to be back, I have missed all of you even if you have not missed me..LOL.....Alison xxx

I have waited in that I have studied and studied this since you first posted it and I have come to the realization that you are very clever. The overall composition at first glance appeals to the masses and is startling in its composition. I hope someday to be able to approach your work and feel the textures. This move in both directions as it pulls and then throws one into a deep frenzy deep inside the work as if a wind has caught me and my fingers slip from the edge of your paint box as I am carried away. Even if you consciously developed the images within beforehand or just allowed the power and vision of the process to carry you along and then they emerge they there to be enjoyed. I shall return to my place as a humble stowaway in the paint box now and emerge each evening only to be stunned by the aura of creation in your studio.
You are a poet, Steven, and i love to read your comments, it is a big pleasure. Also if, one day, you will put on my work a bad comment, it would be equally pleasant to read it because i like the way you write. So...don't stop anyway! :))
