The colours in this painting are beautiful Trudi, they really compliment each other.....it's strange though, because i've never seen a butterfly this colour, and it looks like it's mounted on a sea of mauve, with no movement...very interesting!

hey trudi! very cool work, this must look fantastic on the wall, with it being a large canvas. Are you using the sand texture or even grittier? You can have alot of fun with those textures and creating depth with your different shades of paint. Lots of detail in there too, gorgeous art, and I love that you have found freedom with your painting!
