By far we would really say the poster of the film "Full Metal Jacket" where certain scenes animated by the film of Pink Floyd " The Wall " where we feel very very Malay one. It is very powerful, heart-rending, skinned, the magnificent colors and naturally very hardly.

dearest roberto, this so depicts the way i imagine war, the fire the pain, the masks people must wear, the loneliness and the fear, the deaths and the survivals......my, this is a classic and should be in a war museum somewhere. even though it isn't new it is one of your most impressive works due to it's impact. aside from the emotional impact you have achieved a debth in this painting that is incredible. it draws you into infinity. xxx

Wow.. Now this is very powerful...The golds the reds the oranges and the golden white in the bottom right hand corner give you a sense of explosion... I can see a figure running out of the centre of the painting wearing red on his body and yellow on their head... the feeling... Its serious adrenalin rush... the fear its soo intense... its primal survival.. The movement is so alive and all consuming.... You can feel the nighmare of War... A Masterpiece of expression again... Your work is so inspiring Roy... Thankyou so much for sharing... 5***** : )

I am a huge fan of your work... thank you for inspiring me ~ there is so much to learn from you! Your techniques and effects in each of your paintings... captivating and so unique; your pieces take the viewer into another world. This painting is incredible... even with the bright colours there is such darkness; such destruction that threatens to swallow everything in its path. It is almost as though this painting could be a close-up view of a war wound ~ the burned, scarred flesh ~ as well as showing the war itself: such fear, anger, agony, screams, panic, death, raw emotion... and a fire burning out of control; mindless and pointless and terrifying...! I hope you don't mind my interpretation! :)

You're right Rick: war is not a great memory, but a painter (also if abstract like me) try to paint the reality and, unfortunately, there is a war in every moment of our life in this world...
Thank you very much Rick for your good feedback!

I find this painting of yours one of the most precious. War is so perfectly portrayed in a mixed of significant "pieces" that reveal it's context, like the bars, for example, that it's not possible to do it better! War is much better defined in your abstract way then in realistic paintings. Just because for me, it's more convincing that someone remains with "pieces" of various moments of the horror of war, then with perfect images. Definitely a GREAT masterpiece!

..2 things: I enjoy your uses of texture in this piece (the mixture of "water" & "fire", and an implied "charcoal/burned wood" design in the black center portion), but what really drew me to this was the "randomly" designed white frame..good job, sir..

Thank you very much Mo! I very appreciate your vision of my work. Truly.

This is a very enticing piece! Your fusion of warm palette is very well done. Evident of your talent very early. The intense heat of the left side of the painting is very well portrayed and the centre of the 'burning of fuels ' has such impact!!! Your melting feel to this is well executed. i see many crucifixes in this piece ( maybe to signify the many innocent lives lost) I do enjoy the effect of vanishing edges...important attribute to this painting i feel....Your depth though, that is shown in your most recent works, is not as strong in this piece, yet with the same breath i say that your texture is as strong ( as shown in the closeup detail of this painting). Very worthy of my 5 stars Roberto! Again...very enticing piece!

War is not nice. Your picture is not nice. But it makes me think of war as an awful thing. With smoke, fire, high sounds and no sunlight. That is why I believe your picture is absoltuly outstanding. The normal smoothness is gone, only the ugly raw war- REALLY GREAT!

Great picture. ..the only light here is destroying fire.. that makes for me personally thinking again and again how ugly the war is, making things that could bring light and warmth for life and love once bringing death and horror. ..and no place for hope , even in colors.. GREAT
over 1 year
Thank you very much Sasha! I use this beautiful comment for explain that this representation of the war is full of hope (someone told me the opposite) because the white color represent the water that put out the fire; because no one war is forever.
over 1 year
...interesting how different may be view - but useful to know your point of view as author, of course this changes perception... For me it looked like white space is disappearing by "war" colors exploding from inside and moving to front of the picture destroying white. May be it's my personal reaction, though. Still great picture!
over 1 year
...and.. this picture is very different from other ones you have as sphere element is skipped here. Not sure if i'm right but i noticed that sphere element is presented in almost all your pictures - directly or indirectly.

Yes Sasha, you're right: i love spheres and points of light. Your perception of the white color in this painting is very interesting...! Thank you for spend some of your time watching my work. :)

powerful stuff. A collage abstract and not so abstract. I can travel through this painting and see some strange and very real figures. Flesh on fire and the blood and smoke and scorched earth. Amazing what a different you make today with very similar colors. But this one is hot, in your face like a super large newspaper headline pic and story, molto bene fratello.
over 1 year
You're right Rick: in 1991 i were undecided between abstract and realism, for that you can see strange and real figures, faces, buildings and gas-masks.
It's a sin that the photo is not big because details and texture are very good; maybe i will upload a close up. :)
Thank you very much for your beautiful words!

Hi Roberto, this is stunning my friend, a true fire and brimstone picture that almost melts the canvas, wonderful colour and movement throughout the piece, for those unfortunate enough to have been in the thick of war this is a vision of the pure destruction of man and materials, 5***** ;0)
over 1 year
Yes, war is always a distruction of men and materials but also a waste of money useful to satisfy the whole world hunger. Sometimes i think that the "human" is the animal more domestic and more stupid in this world.
Thank you very much Paul for this observation!
