About my work/My Style:
Who really knows? Honestly, I believe if you cling to much to what you think is your thing than you are missing all the rest.
However, for the sake of attempting to describe my style; I have a diverse and eclectic way of looking at art and therefore partake in a variety of media and mediums. I have enjoyed creating abstract conceptual paintings, surrealist paintings, landscapes, silkscreens, etchings and woodcuts as well as portraiture and more recently have developed a fondness for knife paintings. I attempt to have a keen eye for color and a sharp sensitivity to changes in light.
The creation of these types of paintings shown below are peaceful and therapeutic. They include some more realistic landscapes as well as some more abstracted views of nature and the figure. I love the small details of life that nature provides us and can appreciate the beauty of our human interpretation of the external world.
