gorgeous color, i like your aquarium. so many aquariums are portrayed as all of the fish swimming in order, too orderly in fact. this is more true to life.
Caroline, thanks for your comment on wild chickory, most of your work has a printmaker feel and these fish seem to be a re-curring theme which I feel you have taken to a new level w/this work!! Your bio...lacks, we know 0 about you, please give us a hint|!! Janet 5*

Carolyn, this work is fabulous. The colors are perfectly placed and magicly complement one another both boldly and with nuance.Thank you. I look forward to seeing more of your works.
Wow this is gorgeous the play of complements in this is stunning and the pattern design is incredible. I love this it should sell well. I see it as really commercially viable, get it out in front of everyone you can. make prints of it and hold on to the original for a while.Awesome really.
I love how bright the fish are in this painting. This is one of those works that look simple and yet is not. Keeping the pattern paired down and flowing is difficult. I am often distracted by detail and so appreciate the discipline apparent in this work. Also, you capture the light with the background giving this painting both depth and movement. The use of the fish as an overall pattern is amazing, and your fearless colors are inspirational. I'd also say this painting has huge commercial potential.
As you most likely know, the color scheme you have chosen is startling! The bold and bright combined textures make for an exciting piece of work. What I would like to see is shadowing within the faces, especially the lips to create depth and dimension to the fish. Even lightly using pencil will help. Shadowing will also benefit the fluidity of movement through water. Examine lighter areas, like rays of sun coming through the water, you may just be amazed! The fish which appears somewhat translucent on the right side (the rounded fish) is almost perfect! It is beautiful work. Thank you.
