You caputred it. You caputured the absurdity and the reality of it. You caught that he is most likely your grandfather or mine or was I off just getting us something to smoke before we ran off to sing and dance some more. Just dance - it's important to dance and not let the music stop.

Grandpa Woodstock. Actually this character is really a live person who I was lucky to spot in Woodstock New York one day. I loved his personality so much I went back to Woodstock several weeks later to take more photos of him and I had him sign a model release. He is a real colorful character. He is married to Grandma Woodstock and I hear she is 87 years old. They seem very happy. :-)

I love this painting.It takes me back to the 70's, well maybe it doesn't exactly take me back I guess only because my kids say I never left them. LOL But thats the only reason it doesn't take me back. if I could give you more than 5* I certainly would. It is a really lighthearted, great spirited painting.Good Colors to looks very fun to paint.
