I think it's very good just as is. It reminds me of a yacht marina somewhere sunny - like those we always saw in Greece. I must admit I don't see anything sad about it. Just lots of blue water, some sun flecks and the sky.

I think the therapies are the best paintings ;-) For me this looks like a scale with a very big weight on the left hand side.

I like this just the way it is. The blues are beautiful and it looks a little like looking through a window pane through the rain on a cold wet lonely sunday. Kerry

The constant flow of serious quailty work on this site is INCREDIBLE!!..

A Real Big THANKYOU to Everybody for their Amazing support and interest in my work and for sharing their work and veiws with me.... I cant get over the fact that I feel genuine affection for everyone yet have never met anyone? It is, it seems, as if you come to know people through their work its magical....

I am sorry I have not been on the site much of late but my life can be exceptionally demanding and I am prone to dark periods. Please don't take it...
I am loving pastels as a medium but I am frustrated that this portrait among other work has been spoiled by using fixative. Even the best stuff tends to darken...
Ian, I use pastel all the time. I occasionally use fixative in the very early stages, but no more than that. When I have finished the work, I give it a good... view answer
