Thank you! I am new to all this so REALLY appreciate the feedback! You are gifted and so brave with your art. I'm hoping to aspire to that in the future!
I love these! The colors are so subtle and delicate! And I don't have one rose in my yard!
Sense you asked, I would give it more depth in the background. Mix the green with a red for the darks. Try to make one flower the focal point. Maybe on your next painting, not this one.
I'm still learning though...
On my next flower painting I won't put one on top of the other.
Bonnie, this is simply spectacular!! Viewed your portfolio and this is your best yet! For a self taught grandmother of 13 you are definely quickly becoming a master! Please add this to Realist Florals and Flower Group!! 5* Happy painting!! Janet
I am thrilled and really appreciate the encouragement! Have been too busy with my newest little granddaughter of 1 month to paint much but am getting 'itchy' to paint again!
Monet's Rose Garden is a beautiful rose in a beautiful garden!!! Yes, it is ther fantastic. Sweet and tender rose Bonnie. The green background superb! Great artwork. Kind regards, Robert
The technical portion of this painting is great. I believe the composition would be helped if there were 3 flowers instead of 2 and that they were not aligned vertically but oblique and in a random pattern. From a distance the present composition tends to divide the painting with a vertical white line in the center right of the painting making it somewhat static.
Hi Bonnie - Love these roses! Yesterday I saw a book depicting many artists' impressions of Monet's garden. There were even total abstracts; tempted yo buy. Cheers from Mike
Hello Bonnie, I really love these delicate beauties. Also your background work is very nice, Bonnie. Love the overall feel of this piece with the green leaves intermingled. Wonderful 5* for you, Bonnie, Best regards, Judith

Simply a hobby that I love and would love to have more time to do! Any suggestions appreciated. Am self taught and have been painting for about 6 years but very sporadically as I am a busy wife of a travelling fanatic and a grandmother of 13.
