Cassidy and her Snowy Egrets

This is the finished painting of my pink girl named Cassidy.I tried to create a sort of surreal setting to set the mood.The painting is 4 feet X 5 feet.Oil on canvas and is for sale.

Greatly executed. Cassidy seems to be floating, where the birds have a solid footing, on their leashes, the glimps we get under the tiles, the walling. there is the feeling of entering a dream. Makes me think of Willink, a Dutch surrealist painter i really like and admire.

I am a self trained artist.I have painted over a period of 30 years.By copying the old masters,I have developed my own style and pallet.I apply what I have learned to my portraits and original work.
My paintings are in private collections around the country,The Casa Monica Hotel in St.Augustine,Fl and in St.Peters Cathedral,Albany,NY.
