PearlGirl is wonderful done Kelij. Vermeer is smiling in heaven..:-) She is handsome. The skin tones wonderful. Like the pearl. Very well done. All the best , Robert
Nice color and draping; especially the knotted scarf. She would look softer/prettier if her facial features were more feminine. Great attempt at Vermeer's Master portrait. Not as easy as it appears to be. Lori
I like this painting... Before I started my art class last year this was the painting I wanted to do... Someone else in my class did it instead... I love the colours... Great work...
beautiful work on a variation of Vermeer's painting..I have been doing Bonnard paintings for a couple of years and they have taught me a lot..you really put yourself into this one..very nice..
Vermeer is a favorite of mine and I was just getting ready to paint "The Girl With The Pearl Earring" when your wonderful painting appeared. I hope I do as well!
I am a pearl earring painting fool Your is excellent I am drawn between Scarlett Johansson and the original fictional servant named Griet I love it and have done about 4 it is sometimes called the Mona Lisa of the North" or "the Dutch Mona Lisa".
