11x14", Pastel on Sennelier board. From a photo which was very 'busy' - lots of shrubbery, fancier architecture, dozens of yachts on the water> I like a more 'tranquil' feeling! So I did some building renovations and a bit of landscape gardening and sent the sailors home for lunch......
So calming place and very beautiful atmosphere! Love this colors,my dear friend, particularly of the lake and house! 5***** from me! Best regards,Ankica
Hello dear Zivka - such a long time since I was here. So many kind people have commented on this painting! I have to apologise for being absent so long! :)
I am so glad you sent the sailors home for lunch, this piece is so much more beautiful without them. I can almost hear the mountains calling in the distance.
this painting is so dreamy for me ..I am there in the lovely house snoozing on the porch..no loud motor boats for me..I come from the mountains..the Blue Ridge..and this reminds me of those..I love this painting.

I paint because I love it. My work is not for sale, but I love to share with my family and friends, and other artists. Mostly I work with pastel, occasionally with oils and mainly still lifes, landscapes, and some fantasy images.
