Estupenda pintura. Your colours are dulcid and tranquil and you have captured the sea's reflection and the lonesome bird beautifully. You were demonstrating great painting ability at 20. 5*

Hi Juan - this is so so beautiful! I love how you did the seagull - perfect. The light on the sea is wonderful. I will be referring to this a lot as I paint some more seascapes. 5 ***** From Mike

Juan, this is truly beautiful -- I love how my eye follows the light on the water to the setting sun, and that seagull silhouette is so effective!

Artist Statement
for Juan Carlos Moreno Collado
Juan Carlos Moreno ColladoI live in Madrid (Spain), my birthplace. My artistic background is mostly self-taught. I feel a predilection for hyper-realistic style. And, although I have a special fondness for the oil, I like working with different techniques. I hope you enjoy the works that I expose in this website. I appreciate your criticism and comments.

Do you think painting quickly and carelessly feels less worthwhile to you, than a painting which is done carefully and takes a long time?
I obviously missed this one! Sooo beautiful! I sometimes find that a painting done quickly turns out to be more successful than one I spend a lot of time on,... view answer
